WaterGenius.com Launches to Help Californians Save Water and Money During the Drought

OAKLAND, Calif., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Introducing WaterGenius, a free online tool for California homeowners that identifies the smartest ways to save water in homes during the drought. Using a fast and easy interface, WaterGenius produces customized recommendations on water-saving home improvements and provides an efficient way to find the best products and local services and take advantage of rebate offers and incentives. Developed by BKi, a consulting and software company for energy, water and transportation, WaterGenius brings help to California homeowners who face mandatory water reductions and anticipated rate hikes of up to 30 percent. The Silicon Valley WaterGenius Challenge is made possible by the Santa Clara Valley Water District, which awarded BKi an innovation grant to implement the program.
