Waypoint Announces Cloud Platform Partnerships to Provide Hosted Analytic Solutions for Clients
WEST CHESTER, Pa., Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Waypoint announced strategic partnership agreements with two industry leading, subscription based, cloud offering platforms, Virtusa and StreamOne Enterprise (formerly Avnet / TechData), as well as certified expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS). These platforms will help Waypoint clients to eliminate the capital expense associated with the hardware and software needed to deliver data management and analytics projects, while also reducing the burden on their existing IT departments.
Over the past three years Waypoint's Managed Services practice has grown steadily offering professional services, targeted with helping clients make informed cloud decisions. The announced platform partnerships enable Waypoint to design and manage solutions as they are migrated from on-premise to a hosted/managed environment, at a monthly operational expense.
Waypoint hired Kyle Snyder in October 2016 to scale their existing Managed Services offering. Mr. Snyder's background includes the establishment of a Managed Services practice for BizTech, resulting in their acquisition by Denovo. Post acquisition, Mr. Snyder retained national responsibility for the Managed Services practice supporting over 300 clients with a staff of 100 employees. During the past year with Waypoint, Mr. Snyder has focused on implementing Managed Services best practices and creating partnerships with these leading cloud platforms. The result will provide Waypoint clients with the flexibility of on-premise or hosted analytic solutions.
