WeBuyGold Launches Music-Focused Lifestyle Brand And Original Programming, Debuts First Show "The Bless Up" With DJ Khaled

LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WeBuyGold today announced the launch of its new music-focused lifestyle brand that creates original programming with a focus on Stories content. WeBuyGold is developing several original short-form series for multiple platforms with the world's most popular and emerging talent in and around the music industry. The company's first show "The Bless Up" featuring mogul and social media king DJ Khaled, debuts today on WeBuyGold's Instagram Feed.

The company also announced that DJ Khaled will serve as WeBuyGold's Creative Director. In this role, Khaled will assist in developing, producing and appearing in WeBuyGold's original content while also curating and exposing new music talent.

WeBuyGold was launched out of digital media company Naritiv Inc., one of the first companies to develop branded Stories content for Snapchat and Instagram. WeBuyGold's original content will offer fans an inside look into the lives and music of their favorite and emerging stars. The company's initial programming will live exclusively on each part of Instagram from the Feed (individual posts and posts with multiple photos and videos), to Stories, to Instagram Live.  WeBuyGold will utilize multiple Instagram features to tell in-depth episodic stories.

MyAtlanta: Renowned photographer Cam Kirk has shot some of music's biggest stars and now is showcasing his art and giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at his hometown of Atlanta in this series. Kirk's guests will include Lil Yachty, Migos, Mike Will Made It, Sonny Digital, Meechie and Toosi and D.C. Young Fly.

Close Up: This series is a brief, focused vignette highlighting a single artist and their creative process. The series weaves the artist's words with textures, sounds and other visuals to paint a multi-sensory portrait in motion. Close Up gives audiences a window into a one-on-one intimate conversation that cuts to the core of the artist's motivations. The first episode of Close Up features critically acclaimed singer-songwriter FLETCHER.

UpNext: UpNext pairs talented Instagram illustrators and animators with up-and-coming and unsigned or recently signed music artists to create short animated music videos premiering new music. This weekly series combines art and music in a unique format so fans can discover both these emerging artists.
