Wedge Hotels Corporation Expands Staff to Support Accelerated Growth Plans

CHELMSFORD, Mass., May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Wedge Hotels Corporation, pursuing an expansion strategy to double in size during the next two years, today announced the appointment of Lisa Haynes to the position of Corporate Director of Human Resources.

The appointment was announced by Brian Stage, president and CEO of Wedge Hotels Corporation, who said that Haynes will play a key role in developing talent and building human resource infrastructure as the company embarks on its ambitious growth strategy.

"As we build our current portfolio through acquisition and operation of new hotel locations, Haynes will lead all aspects of the human resources function, both corporately and in the hotel properties," Stage said. "This will include such areas as recruitment, retention and development of staff plus legal compliance, labor relations, employee benefits and development of our overall corporate culture," he added.

Haynes has extensive industry experience including human resource management roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Dolce Hotels and Resorts. Her property-level experience included leading the human resource function at several Dolce hotels in Connecticut, the Sheraton Hotel in Newton, Mass., and the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. She is a graduate of Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.
