Weight Watchers Clarifies Statement on Today's Earnings Conference Call
NEW YORK, May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Weight Watchers International, Inc. (NYSE: WTW) today clarified a statement made during the Company's first quarter fiscal 2010 earnings conference call held earlier today.
During the question and answer portion of today's Q1 2010 earnings call, David Kirchhoff, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, referred to current trends in the Company's North American meetings business as flat. For purposes of clarification, Mr. Kirchhoff was referring to current enrollment trends and not current attendance trends.
