Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital Announces New Hospital Administrator Appointment
MARLTON, N.J., Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas J. Lonergan has been appointed hospital administrator at Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. As former COO of Children's Specialized Hospital and CEO of Lourdes Specialty Hospital of Southern New Jersey, Lonergan joins Weisman with over 37 years of hospital-based executive level management experience. He earned his Masters in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Lonergan will be replacing Dick Shepherd who is retiring. Shepherd spent the past nine years as Weisman's administrator and more than thirty years as an executive in the field of pediatric rehabilitation.
The Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital continuum of care includes inpatient, day hospital, outpatient and medical day care services and offers physical, occupational, speech/language, feeding/swallowing and recreational therapies. With locations throughout South Jersey, Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital serves Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Camden, Cumberland and Gloucester counties.
