MANCHESTER, N.H., Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has notified Well Sense Health Plan that December 1, 2013 will be the first day that it can begin offering managed care coverage to the state's Medicaid recipients. Well Sense is one of three managed care plans – and the only non-profit plan – selected by the DHHS to offer coverage beginning on that date. Currently, Medicaid recipients receive health care on a fee-for-service basis.
