WellCare Opens New Community Center in Miami Gardens
Welcome Room Features Health Information, Education and Activities
TAMPA, Fla., May 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WellCare Health Plans, Inc., (NYSE: WCG) announced today the opening of its newest Welcome Room in Miami Gardens, Florida. WellCare Welcome Rooms are neighborhood health information, education and activity centers. Open to the public, they offer a comfortable environment where visitors can ask questions about Medicaid and Medicare, and members can receive help accessing needed care and services. Welcome Rooms also host dozens of free events each month, ranging from exercise and nutrition classes to education on preventive health, safety and disease management topics.

The Miami Gardens Welcome Room, located at 4680 NW 183rd St. in Miami Gardens, is WellCare's 15th Welcome Room in Florida. Other locations include: Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Kissimmee, Melbourne, New Port Richey, Ocala, Orlando, Pensacola, Pinellas Park, Spring Hill, Tallahassee, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Winter Haven.
