Wender Weis Foundation for Children To Host 15th Annual Heroes Event, 'Holiday Heroes' At AT&T Park, December 3

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Holiday revelers of all ages are in store for a festive evening of fun when the Wender Weis Foundation for Children (WWFC) transforms alluring AT&T Park into the season's ultimate holiday party benefiting children in need.

The 3rd annual "Holiday Heroes" event takes place at AT&T Park on Monday, December 3.   Proceeds from this evening will benefit the Junior Giants Baseball Program, 49ers Foundation, Raphael House, Children of Shelters, and the SF Child Abuse Prevention Center. WWFC will also work with each beneficiary to sponsor and provide transportation for 300 underserved children and their families to attend the event.       

Celebrity Chairs include San Francisco Giant, Jeremy Affeldt, Olympian, Jonny Moseley, San Jose Earthquake, Sam Cronin, Oakland Raiders, Matt Giordano,  Marcel Reece and more to be named.  The Event Chairs are Christine and Kevin Considine alongside Shannon and Dan Cronan.  WWFC is also thrilled to announce Trish and Charlie Loucks, Lori Puccinelli Stern and Peter Stern, and Carla and Christopher Zuber will return as Honorary Chairs.

The festive evening kicks off at 4:30 PM with a sold-out private Sponsor VIP Reception in the Field Club Lounge with the 2012 World Series Trophy on view and exclusive access to the Club House.     

Doors open for the main event at 5:30 PM on the Club Level.  Classic holiday fun will be in abundance for all, including rare access to the SF Giants dugout and batting tunnels, ballpark fare & drinks, holiday cookie decorating, teddy bear stuffing, kids activities, face painting, photo/video booths, and a fabulous silent auction featuring over 100 items.
