Wendt Goss, P.C. Achieves a $10.3 Million Settlement for Missouri Resident Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wendt Goss, P.C. recently settled a case for $10,300,000 ending a lawsuit arising out of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on November 11, 2011 at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 44 near the 56.2 mile marker in unincorporated Lawrence County, Missouri.
The incident involved an initial single vehicle roll-over accident and later separate collisions with a commercial pick-up truck, a passenger vehicle, and a tractor-trailer truck. During the sequence of events, Petar Kuzmanov, the plaintiff, was partially ejected.
According to lead attorney Samuel Wendt, "Mr. Kuzmanov suffered a severe traumatic brain injury as a result of this collision. He's very lucky to have survived."
Over the course of many months of recuperation and rehabilitation, Petar made significant progress. His cognition improved and speech became more intelligible. Wendt Goss, P.C. retained world-renowned experts to determine the sequence of events, their cause, and the extent of Petar's injuries and damages. After years of litigation, the parties decided to settle the case for $10,300,000 rather than proceed to trial.
