West Huddleston, CEO of NADCP, to Join Alcohol Monitoring Systems
DENVER, April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- C. West Huddleston, chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), is joining Denver-based Alcohol Monitoring Systems, Inc. (AMS) as a member of the company's executive sales team. West will begin his tenure as vice president/general manager of the western United States in mid-May.
Over the last decade, Huddleston has become an internationally-recognized advocate for alternative court dockets, known as problem-solving courts, and evidence-based community corrections for offenders involved in drug and alcohol abuse as a component of their crimes. He's a widely published author and keynote speaker, has testified before state and federal legislators and international parliaments, and has worked with media outlets worldwide. He also currently serves as the executive director of NADCP's four divisions: The National Center for DWI Courts, the National Drug Court Institute, Justice for Vets and the Global Centre for Drug Treatment Courts.
According to Mike Iiams, chairman and CEO of AMS, his company has worked a great deal with NADCP and Huddleston since first launching their flagship technology, SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring®, to the corrections industry in 2003. Iiams says Huddleston will be bringing his hands-on experience in the criminal justice system to AMS in order to help his teams better understand and meet the needs of the courts and agencies they serve.
