PITTSBURGH, Oct. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- West Penn Multi-List, Inc., the definitive source for real estate information in a 17-county area in western Pennsylvania, has elected Ron Croushore, owner and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services The Preferred Realty, as president of West Penn Multi-List, Inc. for a two-year term effective immediately.

As head of the North Hills based organization, Croushore will draw on his deep experience as a top-producing Realtor® and broker to keep West Penn Multi-List, Inc. ahead of the technology curve and further enhance the professionalism of its brokers and agents.

For more than 35 years, Croushore has served his profession in numerous capacities, including current president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR) and past president of the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (RAMP). Croushore has been serving for several years on the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) board of directors, and in the role of NAR Federal Political Coordinator to a U.S. congressman.

Since 2011, Croushore has been serving as the first-ever Realtor® to be appointed by the Pennsylvania legislature onto the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA). Croushore was named the first-ever winner of the national Real Estate Leadership Award (for innovation and resilience) from RISMedia in 2011, and this year he received the statewide "Realtor® Active in Politics Award" from the PAR.
