West Virginia First Lady Visits AVerMedia AVerAcademy Pilot School

MILPITAS, Calif., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- AVerMedia® Information, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology, announced the visit of Mrs. Gayle Manchin, the First Lady of West Virginia to Warwood Elementary School in Wheeling, West Virginia, an AVerMedia AVerAcademy Pilot Site on March 23, 2010.  Among other items, Mrs. Manchin attended Ms. Carrie Downer's Pre-K classroom to view how AVerMedia's classroom solutions were being utilized in her classroom.

As a West Virginia Department of Education Board Member, Mrs. Manchin was able to view first hand how the AVerVision Document Camera and AVerPen Interactive Collaborative Learning Solution were being used, and how they fit within West Virginia's academic goals for educators and students.
