Under the program, WestconGroup is looking to find vendors that may not have previously used or considered distribution as a route to market. WestconGroup considers the incubation program a strategic initiative for 2015, with budgeted funding and resources to help innovative new technologies get into the hands of solution providers.

The incubation program also strengthens WestconGroup's overall ecosystem, enhancing the distributor's ability to offer multi-vendor solutions that solve more complex business problems.
In order to be eligible for the incubation program, vendors must invest in the program along with WestconGroup and offer a solution or service in a high-growth market that would be attractive to solution providers, D'Angelo said.
"We also look at their partnering culture and whether they have the necessary structure to support a global channel program, even with our help," D'Angelo said.
Today's Investment, Tomorrow's Opportunity
