TRU Customs have four filters and offer attenuation ranging from 14 dB to 24 dB allowing the user to "protect and select the bass and mid effect". Each custom earpiece designed and assembled at Westone's Colorado Springs laboratory, is precisely fitted to the user's ear canal providing maximum comfort and incredible clarity. Westone's TRU Universals provide an off-the-shelf solution with three filter options in varying decibel ranges. Like their custom counterparts, TRU Universals are critically tuned to reduce volume yet maintain sound quality across the sound frequency spectrum. The "Club Plug" (TRU20) MSRP is $29.99. The TRU16 and TRU25 Universals may be upgraded to custom earpieces for an additional fee.
