SAN JOSE, Calif., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As the medical industry demands more higher quality seals that can prevent harmful contaminant from entering the package, Westpak Inc. now offers three dye penetration test methods. These test methods are specified in the new revision of the ASTM F1929-12 standard released February, 2013 and include injection, edge dip and eye dropper procedures.
"Listening to the needs of our clients for more comprehensive seal leak detection tests, our Standards Committee reviewed the new ASTM F1929-12 specification, which was then adopted and implemented by the Life Sciences Division as Westpak's latest service enhancement offering," states Katie Tran, Life Science Division Manager. "We are excited to be able to quickly train and qualify our test engineering team to perform these new ASTM methods," adds Ms. Tran.
