Wexford Health Awarded Illinois Sex Offender Evaluation Services Contract
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Wexford Health Sources is pleased to announce that it has signed a 3-year statewide contract with the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to provide Sex Offender Evaluation Services throughout the Department's correctional facilities. Under this contract, Wexford Health will complete evaluations on IDOC sex offenders prior to their release from prison, and identify individuals eligible to be civilly committed as sexually violent under Illinois state law. The contract, worth more than $5 million over the three-year period, started August 17.
