Wexford Health Awarded Kane County Adult Justice Center Medical Services Contract
PITTSBURGH, Jan. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wexford Health Sources is pleased to announce that it recently signed a 2-year contract with the Kane County (Illinois) Sheriff's Office to provide medical services for the Kane County Adult Justice Center. Under this contract, Wexford Health will provide onsite and offsite health care, pharmaceuticals, and ancillary services to approximately 640 inmates. The contract, which started on December 1, will run through April 2013, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods. Wexford Health formerly held a similar contract with Kane County from 2003 to 2006.
