WFF Announces Partnership with IFMA on New Recognition for Leading Women in Manufacturing

DALLAS, May 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, WFF announced a partnership with the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) and their upcoming 63^nd Gold & Silver Plate Awards event on Saturday, May 20 at Revel Fulton Market at 6:30pm. The annual IFMA Gold & Silver Plate Awards enables the industry to honor the nation's top foodservice operator talent. As part of the partnership, WFF has created an award to be given for the first time at the 2018 celebration, honoring individuals and companies who are doing great things with Women in Manufacturing.

"The food industry is comprised of so many different sectors, each of which is critical to its functioning," said Hattie Hill, president and CEO of Women's Foodservice Forum.
