WFG Investments, Inc., a subsidiary of Williams Financial Group, Inc., lands $2 billion hybrid wealth management group
DALLAS, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wealth Advisory Group (WAG) organization, along with Registered Investment Advisor Capital Asset Advisory Services (CAAS) has aligned with WFG Investments, Inc. (WFG) as a major expansion to WFG's growing Financial Professional base.
Headquartered in Michigan, WAG/CAAS joined WFG from Invest Financial Corporation. Partner Ken Evangelista: "We spent 3 years interviewing financial services firms to find a group that would take the time to understand our business model, and truly support our entire operation. We found the best fit with WFG."
WAG Partner Tony Mazzali adds "It is clear to us there is a shift going on in the IBD space as it relates to firms that value an independent RIA model, we had to look very hard for a firm to support our custodian of choice, assist with growing our corporate foot print as well as having a collaborative conversation about building technology tools for a truly independent RIA that will support sales and compliance. It has been refreshing to be able to discuss these items with our Broker/Dealer and at each turn they respected our independence of choices and are willing to help and provide infrastructure and service where we choose, it has not been a one way conversation. We feel we have finally found a true partnership that will provide a platform for the growth of our firm."
"We are excited to bring together two growing and dynamic firms," said David Williams, President of WFG. "Both organizations will see tremendous value in the relationship, and mutual opportunity to better serve our customers by expanding our footprint."
