White Paper Release - Applications Achieve More Flexibility And Scalability At A Lower Cost Using .NET NoSQL Database Solution, FatDB

The white paper, entitled "Comparison of Developing a Small Content Management System (CMS) App With and Without FatDB," explores the frequent problems app developers encounter using .NET and SQL server apps, including ensuring sufficient scalability exists to meet ever-changing business demands.

To generate the in-depth report, software engineers spent more than 660 hours comparing the two processes in their entireties including discovery, planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance phases.

The research reveals that when designing and developing an identical app solution on the FatDB platform, any issues involving scalability and fault tolerance were resolved by FatDB. For research purposes the efficiencies of creating a content management system application were tested. However, findings illustrate the software development acceleration FatDB delivers is applicable to any type of scalable app.

Findings also highlighted that using FatDB reduced the total cost of ownership for a small project by 55 percent, compared to using RDBMS. And FatDB delivered a 68 percent reduction in project duration.
