TORONTO, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - There are two weeks left to nominate Canada's top fitness professionals. August 10-14, 2016 at the canfitpro world fitness expo, held annually in Toronto, the best personal trainer and fitness instructor in the country will be recognized. Amongst other industry awards presented, the fitness professional of the year recognizes certified and practicing canfitpro professional members who have demonstrated outstanding work helping Canadians live a healthier lifestyle. The winners will be announced and celebrated in front of thousands of their peers on Sunday August 14^th at the closing ceremonies of the expo, where We Day co-founder, Craig Kielburger will be delivering the closing keynote.

Certification and Education (qualifications/certifications, including length of career in the fitness industry)
Successful Innovative Strategies (strategies, techniques or practices the nominee has used to help clients or participants achieve their health and fitness goals)
Community Outreach (charitable contributions to the promotion of health and fitness that helped to raise awareness in your community)
Letters of reference from clients, participants, or peers
Marketing (unique methods of marketing to those needing their services)
Mentoring (practices used to help mentor their peer(s) towards career development)
