Wicentric's Bluetooth Low Energy Software Shines in Award-Winning Fitness Activity Monitor

Wicentric's exactLE Stack is a powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use protocol stack solution designed specifically to meet the needs of Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth low energy) products like sports & fitness sensors and mobile phone "appcessories." Wicentric worked closely with Misfit to develop Shine's Bluetooth low energy application firmware, which includes advanced features like data sync and over-the-air firmware upgrade.  Wicentric also worked closely with its industry partner Texas Instruments (TI), supplier of the CC2541 Bluetooth radio system-on-chip in Shine. The result of this close collaboration was a successful project spanning less than five months from design start to mass production.
