William "Shawn" McLaren Joins Netswitch Technology Management Board Of Directors

William "Shawn" McLaren is one of the Silicon Valley's most successful software entrepreneurs and was the engineering brains behind the world's most successful enterprise data security product, ACF2, which unseated IBM's rival product, RACF within 18 short months of its launch.
After several years as the market leader, Shawn sold his company to Computer Associates in one of the biggest software deals at that time. Shawn followed ACF2 by starting Securant, which became the market leader in security risk management and threat monitoring and won both Network Computing's Editor's Choice and NetworkWorld's Blue Ribbon awards. Shawn subsequently sold Securant to RSA for $137 million.
