WilliamPaid Announces 'Show Some Love, Get Some Green' Sweepstakes

CHICAGO, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- WilliamPaid, an online renter and roommate resource launching later this month as williampaid.com, today announced its 'Show Some Love, Get Some Green' Sweepstakes. WilliamPaid will pay each of three winners up to $1,000 to pay their rent or another household expense.

During this month of love, WilliamPaid wants to remind everyone that roommates need love, too.  "It's not uncommon for us to spend more time with our roommate than we do with anyone else," said Evan Silverman, Chief Executive Officer of WilliamPaid.  "We don't always nurture those relationships as much and often take our roommates for granted."

"With our 'Show Some Love, Get Some Green' Sweepstakes, we want to encourage people to appreciate the many things that their roommates do – big and small," said Silverman.  In addition to the base entry, individuals can receive five additional entries by posting a comment on our blog about why they love or appreciate their roommate.  According to Silverman, "Just a few words can go a long way."

In addition to the sweepstakes, WilliamPaid has declared February as "Roommate Appreciation Month."  Throughout the month, WilliamPaid will be featuring special promotions around doing something nice for your roommate.  "There are appreciation days for just about everybody except roommates.  We think it is time that roommates get their day, or in this case, month, too," said Silverman.
