Williams Financial Group Hires Patrick Fay as Director of Equity Sales & Trading

DALLAS, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams Financial Group, a privately held Dallas-based financial services firm providing brokerage, advisory and investment services, has recently made three key hires in its Equity Capital Markets Division.

Patrick Fay joins as the Director of Sales & Trading where he will work alongside Cody Acree, Director of Equity Research, to increase the size of the research sales force as well as its trading desk in an effort to broaden WFG's customer contact for a fast growing research product.

Fay is a 32-year veteran of the financial services industry and was previously the Managing Director of Equity Trading at D.A. Davidson & Co. for eight years with three years also spent on their board. Prior to D.A. Davidson, Fay spent a year at Frost Securities, 17 years as a partner and Co-Head of Trading at J.C. Bradford and three years at Dillon Read. He began his career on the New York Stock Exchange as a specialist clerk. Notable past affiliations include: President of the Nashville Security Dealers Association and Member of the Boston Stock Exchange Trading Committee.

In Equity Research, Matt Beeby and David Neil Williams join Williams Financial Group as Senior Equity Research Analysts.  Collectively the Research group will cover semiconductors, oil field services, home building & building products.
