LISLE, Ill., April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago area mobile firm, Lextech Global Services, is hosting the first ever "Holy apps, I'm going to WWDC!" competition this month for mobile app developers. The competition will judge an applicant's performance on three exercises, including a video application, a coding test and a panel interview. The winner will be awarded a local, full-time position with the firm and an all expenses paid trip to Apple's sold out World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC).
"We are hosting this competition and sending a big group of our developers to WWDC because it is the opportunity to learn about new iOS technology and interact with the team responsible for creating the frameworks," said Lextech CEO, Alex Bratton. "We believe in making investments in our team, and this event has a big payoff for us as individuals and as a company."
Interested parties should submit a 3 minute or less video application via email to email@example.com no later than midnight on Friday, April 29th for consideration.
The video application must include:
- Introduction and why you are passionate about mobile app development
- Answer to the question, "What is your favorite iOS framework and why?"
- Answer to the question, "What iOS framework do you find to be the most challenging and why?"
- Answer to the question, "Why would we want you on our team?"
