Both firms have experienced growth above their peer groups owing to their focus on cloud, colocation and telecom users. This announcement falls on the heels of the recent announcement by WiredRE of their planned purchase of Phoenix-based cloud, colocation and data center research firm, Applied Computer Research, Inc. ("ACR").

Additionally, each site has access to reclaimed water in partnership with Loudoun Water. Reclaimed water is inexpensive, green, and acts as a secondary source for redundancy.
The Northern Virginia market hosts 8 of the 10 largest colocation providers, including AT&T, CoreSite, Digital Realty Trust, DuPont Fabros Technology, Equinix, Level 3 Communications, Savvis (CenturyLink) and Terremark (Verizon). The region has an estimated 75 colocation and data center facilities operated by 30 providers.
