Wisconsin Department of Transportation Awards RMT Hazmat and Asbestos Contracts

MADISON, Wis., March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- RMT, Inc. (RMT), a leading energy and environment company, has been selected by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to provide statewide, full-service environmental consulting and construction services and statewide bridge asbestos services under a multi-year contract.

The WisDOT requires various levels of environmental consultation, investigation, and remediation on transportation projects and properties that it owns throughout Wisconsin. RMT has over 20 years of experience working on thousands of these sites across the State.

RMT's new contracts, which are effective as of January 15, 2010, involve providing environmental consulting services including, but not limited to, hazardous materials site assessments, remediation and waste management activities, RCRA or CERCLA services, environmental accountability and compliance services, asbestos inspection and abatement, water resource assessment, and 24-hour emergency response.
