Wisconsin Virtual Academy Welcomes Students to Open Enroll for 2015-2016 School Year

MCFARLAND, Wisc., Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wisconsin Virtual Academy (WIVA), a tuition-free online public charter school, encourages families with students in grades K-12 to take the necessary steps to ensure they have educational options for the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year.

Parents considering WIVA or any other public school outside their resident district must submit an application during the state's open enrollment period: Monday, February 2, 2015 through 4 p.m. CST on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Submitting an open enrollment application does not commit families to enrolling in the fall, but does provide them the option to at a later date.   

WIVA accepts students from across the state of Wisconsin and takes an individualized approach to learning, combining online instruction and hands-on curriculum with the support of Wisconsin-licensed teachers who are available online and by phone.
