WISI and Nortex Communications Partner, Expanding its Offering of TiVo Managed IPTV Services to Hospitality Customers

VANCOUVER, BC, Feb. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- WISI, a global leader in telecommunications solutions, announces that Nortex Communications has deployed WISI's Inca IP Video Platform, which will extend the availability of TiVo-powered IPTV services to hospitality customers, including hotels and hospitals.

As part of transitioning from traditional digital cable to a fully managed TiVo IPTV platform, Nortex sought a cost-effective and scalable solution to deliver video services to hospitality sites. WISI's ABR Receiver provided the ideal answer.

Content is converted to IP transport stream using the ABR Receiver at a central location and is then modulated to QAM at the property using WISI's Blueline Edge Series, the GTBLE23 — all without requiring major infrastructure investments.
