With Covid continuing to endanger kids, demand for Home Play Gyms is on the rise
MIAMI, Aug. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- If you scroll the latest news headlines, you will see some shocking messages such as "Your child will wait for another child to die". At first, kids seemed to be spared by Covid but now, with the new variants at large, this is no longer the case.
It is probably a matter of time when many kids will be forced to spend more time at home again. Many parents are still avoiding public playgrounds and even skipping kids' parties. Stricter Covid-related rules at daycares are also keeping parents on the edge. Every parent is essentially on standby, ready to take their kids home in case of a Covid outbreak.
Especially working parents, are turning their homes into all-in-one "daycare centers" that provide not only a place for online learning but also a space for physical activities at home. That is why the demand for physical activity toys, such as indoor Home Play Gyms is on the rise.
Miami company Brainrich Kids is the one that introduced the concept of having a 24/7 accessible playground inside of your home. Home Play Gyms fill the need for kids' physical development while they are on a home lockdown due to Covid or simply bad weather.
The company has been growing exponentially and already served thousands of families, also benefiting kids with various physical disabilities. Even before Covid, many neurodiverse kids were only entitled to one 50-minute session with an occupational therapist per week, which is a ridiculously small amount of time compared to what these kids really need.
Brainrich Kids Home Play Gyms literally became life saviors for many of these kids. These playsets also allowed them to build confidence while playing in a safe home environment. Now the company decided to take it a step further and launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of an app that would further engage kids in physical activities.
The Kickstarter was fully funded in just two days but is still open till Sep 1, 2021. Backers are getting access to a future app as well as a great deal on getting one of the Play Gyms.
The owners of Brainrichkids.com are predicting that, just like last year, they will run out of inventory in early November, so it is highly recommended to order way ahead of Christmas.
