WizEvo Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for the SYLPH, Its Revolutionary Portable Hair Dryer, On Indiegogo
SHENZHEN, China, June 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WizEvo, the Shenzhen-based cutting-edge innovator of home automation and robotic consumer products, has launched its very first project, the SYLPH portable hair dryer, on the global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. The exciting launch marks the company's debut on the world stage and is the first in its planned line of products that will focus on making women's lives easier.
The SYLPH is a cellphone-size smart hair dryer with lightweight design. With a total weight of 350 grams (12.3 ounces) and 150 grams (5.3 ounces) for the handheld portion, the SYLPH can easily be carried in small handbags. It is super portable compared with traditional hair dryers. Its intelligent heat control technology precisely controls the temperature and prevents extreme heat, and possible damage to the user's hair, by measuring the temperature 50 times per second. Components including aerodynamic force, built-in Ionizer, new design electric motor and high frequency sensing module ensure the drying efficiency and care for hair.
Simon Lin, CEO of WizEvo, elaborated: "During our 2 years of research we surveyed 112 kinds of hair dryers from around the world and conducted more than 3,000 hours of testing. 94.2 percent of the components that make up the SYLPH have been tailor-made."

According to Lin, the SYLPH was inspired by the trouble that his wife encountered. A ballet dancer, she was constantly dealing with damage to her hair caused by her need to style and set it prior to every performance. He wanted to design a portable hair dryer that also cared for hair.
