SAN JOSE, Calif., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Women in Consulting (WIC), a collaborative community of professional consultants and small business owners, today announced its second quarter 2010 programs, including webinars, in-person events, and seminars throughout the Bay Area.

WIC events are interactive and provide participants with timely business advice and best business practices. They also serve as a forum for exchanging business ideas and networking with speakers and other consultants.

New for 2010 is a Member Orientation held before all General Meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30 pm, either at Quadrus in Menlo Park or Michael's at Shoreline in Mountain View. This Member Orientation is the perfect opportunity for new, veteran, and prospective members to learn about WIC, its programs, and how to take advantage of the numerous benefits offered to members. Each session covers:

Member benefits
Procedures, processes, and overall structure
Available tools and how best to access them
Ways for members to increase their exposure within the WIC community for optimum networking
Pro bono opportunities within WIC that help deepen members' WIC connections
