Women of All Ages Learn What It Takes to be Financially Savvy at Every Stage of Life
BETHESDA, Md., May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The women financial advisors and tax professionals at Bridgewater Wealth & Financial Management hosted a special event designed to empower women of all ages to take control of their financial lives.
Over 70 women attended Tea and Talk: Pearls of Wealth & Wisdom for Women of All Ages at the Mansion at Strathmore on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Many of the attendees brought their twenty-something daughters, mothers or female friends for an evening that was designed to give them valuable knowledge about their money and finances in a fun environment.
Nina Mitchell, Principal and Senior Wealth Advisor at Bridgewater Wealth was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Presenters Shellie Kurek Peters, CFP®, Senior Wealth Advisor & Director of Financial Planning and Karen Baer, CSA®, CDSA™ took guests on a financial journey with three generations of "Bridges" family women as each faced financial issues spanning seven decades.
Each decade in this unique presentation featured several POWWs or Pearls of Wealth & Wisdom targeted to address many of the financial situations that women face at specific times throughout their lives.
