Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Partners with the American Community Gardening Association to Support Giving through Growing for Second Consecutive Year

LODI, Calif., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi is proud to announce its continued support of Giving through Growing - a partnership with the American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) to raise awareness of the importance of developing and beautifying communities through gardening.  This year the campaign will come to life through culinary pioneer and national community gardening advocate, Katy Oursler, with a multi-city media tour and consumer workshop series designed to educate and provide tools to build the greening movement in the United States.  Key cities on the tour include Los Angeles (August 10), New York City (September 17-18), and San Francisco (October 8-9).  Supported by an online campaign, the program's website www.woodbridgewines.com/garden will allow people to send "e-seeds" to friends and family, and Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi will donate one dollar to the ACGA for every e-seed sent, up to a total of $40,000. These funds will provide educational tools and leadership training to select ACGA members across the country to help sustain successful community garden programs.

In each city visited by Giving through Growing, Katy Oursler will meet with press on this important program to gain more exposure about healthy living through gardening fresh vegetables and fruits while empowering individuals to become involved in their local gardens.
