
World of Green Celebrates Site Makeover with a $250.00 Back to School Classroom Giveaway
NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading green website WorldofGreen.com is getting a makeover. Launched as an easy, "one-stop" shop for consumers to find the latest eco-friendly products, the site now features "live" news feeds from top green sites, plus an added "Re-Wind" section of green product demos and videos. Interested candidates must become a World of Green Community member and then nominate a grade school classroom of their choice with a brief explanation of why it's important to "reuse, reduce and recycle" on the World of Green Facebook page. The two-week contest goes from August 12 to September 2nd with the winning classroom announced on September 3rd on the World of Green Facebook & Twitter pages.
The winning entry and classroom will receive $250 worth of recycled and earth-friendly supplies like "tree-free" pencils and notebooks made from sugarcane paper and soy-based inks.
