PALM SPRINGS, Calif., April 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WorldFlix, Inc. (OTC: WRFX) today announced the Company has significantly enhanced the security and privacy of its Swantry app with the addition of its new, proprietary protection technology, Parano, developed by its subsidiary Paranotek. Paranotek is a security software company that has developed Parano as a post-quantum, cryptographic protocol, designed to withstand sophisticated security hacks both currently in use and expected in the future from super and quantum computers. Popular apps on the market today, such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, may be hacked as quantum computers come online without advanced encryption software such as Parano. The addition of Parano to Swantry has pushed the launch date of Swantry out to the end of the month as Paranotek files patents to protect the intellectual property of its software.
"The Parano protocol is far ahead of the curve in privacy and encryption technology. It's built to withstand not only security hacks known today but those expected in the future as supercomputing and quantum computing advance," stated Brad Listermann, Chairman and CEO of WorldFlix. "While the addition of this technology has delayed the launch of Swantry by a few weeks, we are confident this technology will provide the safety and privacy our users are looking for."
Lauri Tunnela, CTO of Paranotek, added, "Quantum computers will be here shortly, and development of post-quantum cryptographic protocols must be underway before their arrival. We have been working on our post-quantum cryptographic protocol Parano which we fully believe is the solution for future security issues. The protocol is ready to be used in instant messaging applications, email applications and in any type of application that requires data to be transmitted securely between two ends — and it's already built into Swantry. However, before we release it for action, we are taking the necessary steps to protect the IP by filling patents for the technology. We believe it's time to take back your privacy."
