Navarro as President and Chief Visionary Officer effective March 27. Damien's experience in agency-building and large-scale marketing campaigns adds strategic resources to VIMBY's content expertise.

Navarro has spent over two decades as a c-level marketing and advertising executive, having built agencies from the ground up while managing billion-dollar campaigns for blue chip brands and organizations. "I'm incredibly honored to join the VIMBY team and be part of the force behind some of the country's most transformational campaigns," said Navarro who will be directly involved with highly localized story-telling strategies for clients including Intel, Walgreens, The Daily Beast and Kimberly Clark. Prior to joining VIMBY, Navarro co-founded The Institute – which has provided senior marketing consulting, campaign and content strategy for some of the world's top brands, publishers and publicly-traded corporations. The group was recently nominated for both a Boutique Agency and Campaign of the Year IDEA award by Think LA in 2016. Navarro joined the faculty at Chapman University in the Dodge School of Film Studies in 2014, and is also currently represented by industry powerhouse Circle of Confusion. As a personal endeavor, Navarro also recently founded Storytellers United in partnership with Adi TV Studios & Good Amplified, a movement and event series that helps to bring sensitivity to how the disenfranchised are represented in media.
Navarro also brings 15 years of experience as founder and CEO of globally-recognized digital marketing agency, Earthbound /Brighter Collective which was acknowledged as one of the fastest-growing private companies for five years running by Inc. 500 Magazine. His leadership helped grow Brighter from a start-up into a multimillion-dollar business and established it as a market leader in digital and content marketing – leading the market-building efforts of industry giants such as State Farm, Scottrade, Universal Pictures, and Best Friends Animal Society.
