Worthwhile Wear is Bicycling Across America to Help END Human Trafficking

PHILADELPHIA, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- How far would you go to end modern day slavery? On May 18, 2015 Jay Atlas, Sylvester (Sly) Williams and Jonathan Moore from the Philadelphia, PA area will be partnering with Worthwhile Wear. Jay, Sly and Jon will be bicycling from Fargo, North Dakota to San Antonio, Texas to raise awareness for human trafficking and $10,000 for Worthwhile Wear's housing program, The Well. This awareness and fundraising campaign, also known as Worthwhile GO, will take these intrepid young men on a 3,400 mile adventure through Omaha, Denver, Albuquerque and Dallas.

Jay has not wavered in his commitment to raise awareness for this important cause. In 2013, he and his brother, Shannon Sprowal spent three months walking from Atlantic City, New Jersey to Los Angeles, California speaking out against human trafficking. They were joined by individuals, groups, armed forces, and faith-based organizations as they walked through cities and towns.

Last year, Jay and Sly cycled from Seattle, Washington to Miami, Florida to raise awareness about human trafficking. This endeavor took under four months to complete.
