Wrazz.com Offers Social Media Management to Local Businesses
Social Commerce, Networking and Daily Deals Site Proposes a New Avenue for Businesses to Communicate with Customers
SEATTLE, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- How does a new website double its social media presence overnight? Just ask Wrazz (http://wrazz.com/), a social commerce tool that connects businesses and users in a single location. In a matter of days they attracted nearly 3,000 Facebook fans and now Wrazz is offering their savvy social media expertise to local businesses.
Wrazz is extending its services to help local businesses navigate the uncharted territory of social media. For many, sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Yelp and Foursquare can be intimidating, time-consuming and inefficient. Wrazz intends to be a social media guru for those unsure about not only how to handle the many ways of connecting with new customers, but also how to keep current customers engaged.
Launching mid-October, Wrazz is a social media site that answers the question "What do you want to do?" in the neighborhoods users frequent, by using smartsearch tools and location-based functionality. Developed in partnership with over 4,500 local businesses, promotions will offer killer discounts of up to 80 percent, and will be available for up to three days.
For all businesses and users, Wrazz is a completely free site. Every update a company makes while using the platform will also get pushed out to their Facebook and Twitter accounts. However, for those businesses that haven't yet capitalized on social media, whether it's not knowing how to go about using it or simply not having the time, Wrazz is offering social media management to remedy these inefficiencies. Participating businesses can buy in on a monthly fee with a 12-month agreement:
- Three social updates a week - $199
- Daily social update - $399
- Multiple updates daily - $599

According to a white paper published by Syncapse in 2010, fans of a product or service with a Facebook presence are 41 percent more likely than non-fans to recommend it to their friends. For Wrazz, targeting and engaging users about where they like to spend their time converts into greater market share for participating businesses.
"Wrazz encourages users to discover new venues for the things they want. Our Facebook campaign demonstrated the effectiveness of this vertical marketing. It's shifting away from connecting businesses with consumers to connecting consumers with businesses, which is the idea behind the Wrazz.com platform," says Ian Porter, co-founder of Wrazz.
The response was explosive and viral after Wrazz announced a cash-prize scavenger hunt when its Facebook fan page reached 1,500 "likes" (http://www.facebook.com/wrazz). Local Fox affiliate Q13 and print media reported dozens of people actively searching for the $500 hidden cash and their number of fans doubled. The giveaway was met with such enthusiastic participation that Wrazz announced a $1,000 prize when they reach 5,000 fans.
"Social commerce means empowering users with incentives to enjoy exactly what they want, when they want it. The idea behind the site grew from this desire to share a night out with our friends. Technology makes it so that we can discover new businesses," says Wrazz co-founder, Bret Eickhoff.
Other functions of the site include a location-based itinerary gadget called a "Game Plan," which coordinates activities in real time with Facebook friends. The Wrazz mobile app will soon be available for the iPhone, Android and Blackberry platforms.
The wild-fire growth of Wrazz's Facebook presence points to the strength of the business model: Engage users in a conversation about how they want to spend their time, connect them with the services they want, and provide a tool that gets them to enjoy the best their city has to offer.
Wrazz.com connects consumers and their social networks with enticing local deals in the hippest North American markets. Launched by Bret Eickhoff and Ian Porter to facilitate a night on the town, wrazz.com promises to integrate social commerce with a dynamic user experience. For a good time visit wrazz.com.
