WTP Advisors Opens West Coast Location

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- WTP Advisors, an award-winning, global tax and advisory firm, announced today that it has opened a new office location in Long Beach, CA. The new site will be headed by tax expert, Jon Worden, who most recently managed PwC's West Region International Tax Services Quantitative Solutions Team.

In his new role, Worden will be responsible for serving the L.A., Orange County and Northern California markets, as well as cultivating relationships with organizations up and down the West Coast.

Worden's philosophy on tax consulting is that it's best done with both a qualitative and quantitative approach.

"Qualitatively, you start by looking at a company's organizational structure and moving it around based on tax treaties, in order to get the most favorable structure in place. But to be able to understand the ultimate effective tax rate perspective, you have to know a company's earnings and profits, stock basis, etc. – all of which is quantitative," says Worden.
