SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- WXYZ will premiere an exciting new music video that will be the anthem for Detroit 2020 on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. The song "Turn it Around," is performed by the Detroit band "Rock Nation," and features scenes from across Metro Detroit that reflect the motto of Detroit 2020, "Unify. Inspire. Act."
The music video was shot by WXYZ and features "Rock Nation" performing their original song on a rooftop in downtown Detroit.
The video will be prominently featured in all 7 Action News programs on Tuesday, April 17th. 7 Action News at Noon, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. will include an interview with members of "Rock Nation."
The original music video is two minutes long. The full length video along with shorter versions can be viewed on the Detroit 2020 website, Detroit2020.com, and on wxyz.com.
The video is released just two days before the first Annual Detroit 2020 Awards luncheon on Thursday, April 19th that will recognize the work of three local organizations that are improving the quality of life in Metro Detroit and setting an example of the Detroit 2020 mission, "Unify. Inspire. Act."
