XBRL Experts DataTracks India Participate in ICAI International Conference in Chennai
CHENNAI, India, Feb. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- DataTracks India, a provider of free XBRL software and services for regulatory filings with MCA, participated in the conference conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) between 6th to 8th January, 2012 on "Accountancy Profession: Leveraging Emerging challenges for Inclusive Growth" at Chennai.

DataTracks India was a lead sponsor at the conference that was attended by more than 900 delegates which included members of the ICAI, senior finance professionals from companies and partners of accounting firms from all over India. The conference focused on the emerging accounting practices including the XBRL regulatory filing standards being implemented in India.
As an invited speaker, TR Santhanakrishnan, CEO of DataTracks India, addressed the audience on XBRL and how companies can benefit from XBRL, beyond regulatory filings. The event was an eye opener to several accounting professionals keen to take advantage of this emerging new regulatory and business reporting standard.
At this event DataTracks announced the launch of its new offering to Companies for preparing regulatory filings with Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India. This included:
- A web based template that users can fill in their data and extract output in XBRL format.
- A web based Self-service model where users can convert regulatory filings into XBRL format for a nominal fee
- A web based Full service model where users can send input documents to DataTracks India for conversion into XBRL; a service that is already being used by several companies in India.
The services use a robust in house XBRL conversion software built and owned by DataTracks.
DataTracks awarded iPads as raffle prizes for two lucky winners from amongst the delegates who visited the DataTracks stall at the conference.
