Xilinx Named to Top 10 List of Most Popular Semiconductor Brands in China by China Electronic News

BEIJING, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) today announced the company has been named one of the top ten most popular semiconductor brands in China by China Electronics News (CEN), in its 2009 award program.  This is the fourth consecutive year that Xilinx has been honored with this award, presented this month at the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International Conference (SEMICON) in China.

The award recognizes companies for their brand influence, sales revenue, product performance, service and localization efforts in China.  Xilinx was named alongside other leading semiconductor companies, including Broadcom, Freescale, Fujitsu, National Semiconductor, NXP, Renesas, ROHM Semiconductor, Texas Instruments and TriQuint Semiconductor.  Award recipients were selected following a 3-month evaluation by the CEN editorial team, a panel of industry experts and online voting at the CEN website.
