SAN JOSE, Calif., March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) today announced it is sponsoring a Graphical System Design Achievement Award at NIWeek 2011. The featured award titled "The NI LabVIEW FPGA Innovation Award" will recognize the paper that details the most innovative application using National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW graphical system design software to program the field-programmable gate array (FPGA) in NI hardware including PXI-based R Series modules, CompactRIO, NI FlexRIO, or NI Single-Board RIO devices.
Finalists will be selected by the NI judging panel from an application process. One winner will be chosen for the industry and student design teams categories. Judges will be looking for the best solutions that take advantage of FPGA resources to boost overall system performance. The winners will be chosen by a judging panel consisting of Xilinx participants.
