XOJET, Inc. Reports Strong 2010 Second Quarter Financial Performance and Expanding Operations in New York and Los Angeles
SAN CARLOS, Calif., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Business aviation leader XOJET, Inc. announces its continued trend of strong financial performance in 2010 with plans to expand operations in New York and Los Angeles. To meet a continued increase in demand for services, XOJET is expanding its presence in the greater New York area and will open a regional office in New York City later this fall. XOJET has also recently signed a new lease to expand its flight operations at Van Nuys airport in Los Angeles and will open a Los Angeles based regional sales office later this year.
"We continue to experience growing demand for our services with new customers leaving fractional programs, which has created the need to expand our operations and presence in the key markets of New York and Los Angeles," according to XOJET President, Ben Murray. Murray added, "Our fleet of Challenger 300 and Citation X aircraft are ideal for transcontinental flights and we are experiencing strong growth in these flight routes. In addition, we are seeing tremendous excitement about XOJET's unique ability to offer high speed Wi-Fi access on board our aircraft."
While XOJET continues to expand its operations, it also is on the cutting edge of providing customers with a unique flying experience. Last month, XOJET announced its "Why Fly without Wi-Fi!" campaign becoming the first major business aviation company to have its entire fleet of planes wireless enabled. All XOJET customers will be able to use any Wi-Fi enabled devices including laptops and smartphones to access the Internet in flight.
These expansions come at time when XOJET continues to enjoy consistent financial growth. "We are pleased with our strong performance in the ongoing market recovery and are grateful for the continued loyalty of our existing customer base and our clients who have rewarded our efforts by renewing their program commitments," said Mark Long EVP & CFO of XOJET.
XOJET's unique delivery and service model has proven to be an attractive alternative to fractional programs and distributed charter. Growing customer demand for XOJET's services has allowed it to be one of the few players in the industry to take delivery of new planes in 2010. In addition, the expansion of its current fleet of upgraded Challenger CL300's and Citation X's, announced earlier this year, coincides with the strongest financial performance in XOJET, Inc.'s history.
