Xura Honored for Exceptional Innovation in WebRTC Technology with the forge SDK
Xura, Inc. (NASDAQ: MESG), a leading provider of secure, digital communications services, announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person and online, has named Xura's forge SDK as a 2016 WebRTC Product of the Year Award winner.
In 2015, the team at Xura, completed a major re-architecture of their forge SDK to provide enterprise customers with additional flexibility, customization and control in implementing and enabling contextual click-to-communicate functionality in webpages and mobile apps. The forge SDK was updated to enable and store recordings, support highly secure messaging, as well as power multi-party conferencing which spans across voice calling, IM, chat, text messaging and video conferencing.
Xura also launched its forgeAS (forge Application Server) making it easy for companies to add advanced services within apps, to provide a highly custom experience through what would be a normally complex process. For example, with forge AS enterprises can better support their call centres, by integrating additional functionality such as call queuing and routing based on customer type. This could also allow for contextual videos which can be shown during hold time, alongside premium billing associated with a certain tech support category, and connectivity into existing CRM systems to gather previous purchase information, language, or billing preferences.
