This location provides the opportunity to leverage best in class design experts in the fashion and home decor industry. In addition it will allow the company to fully influence the design, cost, and manufacturing opportunities of its products. The company has chosen renowned fashion and textiles designer Patti Carpenter to head the NYC studio as Creative Director.

In her new Creative Director role, Carpenter will work out of the NYC studio space. Carpenter will serve as an internal trend forecaster and create custom developed products for Yankee Candle.
Carpenter is the principal and creator of Continuum Home, Inc. and founder of Carpenter + Company. She will bring more than 25 years of experience—including positions with fashion giants Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, and Ralph Lauren—to this new role at Yankee Candle. The new design studio and its creative team will work closely with the company's existing creative department located at company headquarters in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
