Yongye International Receives Top Marketing Awards in China

(NASDAQ: YONG), a leading agricultural nutrient company in China ("Yongye" or the "Company"), today announced that the marketing team and General Manager of the National Sales Center of Yongye Nongfeng, the Company's main operating affiliate, received the "Jin Ding Award" at the 8th China Marketing Forum on May 13, 2011. Yongye's marketing team and General Manager, Mr. Nan Xu, won the awards for "Outstanding Marketing Team" and "Outstanding Marketing General Manager", respectively.

The China Marketing Forum is an annual forum now in its eighth year that is focused on the most successful marketing projects and professionals in the marketing field in China. The "Jin Ding Award" is widely recognized as the top award in China's marketing sector. Three other recipients received the "Outstanding Marketing Team" award.
